I believe in the power of therapy and would be honored to support you in this process. To me, therapy is a collaborative space — one where you feel heard, supported, and free to explore at your own pace. My role is to partner with you as you work towards the changes that matter most to you.
I approach the therapeutic space with warmth, humor and authenticity. The therapeutic relationship is important, and I am committed to creating a space built on trust, connection and safety. I know that reaching out for extra support isn’t easy. Thank you for taking these first steps with me.
I have a special interest in working with adults (18+) and have experience working with individuals looking for extra support around the following:
Life transitions
Recent life stressors
New or reemerging mental health symptoms
I have specific experience in maternal mental health, including the following:
Transitioning to Parenthood
Fertility Challenges
Sometimes people hope to use therapy as a space to build awareness and talk through things, other times people are looking for a space that is more skill-based, directive, and structured. I use a variety of approaches in therapy and tailor treatment plans to fit each client’s unique needs. I have specific training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
When I am not working, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy finding and cooking new recipes (the less cleanup, the better), walking the lakes, catching up on my favorite tv shows and daydreaming about the next place I want to travel.
