*In-person + telehealth services
*Practicing under the supervision of Bailey Peterson
My name is Maggie and I provide individual, couple, and family therapy under supervision, and I am deeply committed to creating a collaborative, inclusive, and compassionate therapeutic space where all identities, backgrounds, and relationship styles are welcome
Prior to my work as a therapist, I studied and worked professionally in theatre as a stage manager in the Midwest. My background in theatre has given me a profound appreciation for the power of storytelling, empathy, and connection – values I carry into my clinical work. Just as stories on stage or on the big screen can move and transform us, I believe therapy offers a space for clients to explore and reshape the narratives they hold about themselves, their relationships, their pasts, and their futures. I strive to meet each client with curiosity, cultural humility, and a deep respect for their lived experiences. You are the expert in your life.
In sessions, you can expect warmth, thoughtful listening, humor, and a relational approach that honors your strengths and experiences. I integrate narrative therapy, internal family systems, and family systems through a feminist, sex-positive, and body-positive lens. I am trained in Gottman Level 1 therapy. I’m passionate about helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families reconnect with themselves and with one another in meaningful ways and can assist with the following concerns:
Life Transitions
Emotional Distress
Adjustment Issues
Relationship Challenges
Gender and Sexuality
Sexual Health
Women’s Issues
Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, watching TV and movies, cheering on both Minnesota (+ the Packers) and Cincinnati sports teams, spending time with friends, visiting my family in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spending time and laughing with my fiancé.
I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate change, healing, or simply the next chapter of your story.
