“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.” – Brené Brown

You just did one of the bravest and most important things by showing up on this page, and I am so glad you are here. Whether you are coming for the first time or have done it before, starting therapy can be nerve-racking, and I am here to support you throughout your journey. While collaborating, we can work on addressing the distresses and feelings in life while I validate and safely challenge your thoughts and feelings.

I am especially interested in working with adults (18-99+) looking to address concerns in the following areas:

When working together, I view my role as being a co-author in your therapeutic story, meaning that your therapy will be based on your individual needs and experiences, with me there to help navigate. It may include a plan containing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), psychoanalytic therapy, existential therapy, and/or mindfulness-based intervention.

I am currently a practicum student in the process of getting my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am thrilled to be training under the knowledgeable and wonderful clinicians at Embolden You. Much of my background is working with ages 0-18 while completing neuropsychological assessments. In addition, I have special training in the use of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to support individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

When I am out of the office, I enjoy playwriting and acting (before entering the mental health field, I was a full-time actress and playwright!), as well as reading in coffee shops around the Twin Cities, hiking trails outside of the city, and laughing with my friends and family.
